The history of the band, starting in May 2003...

In May 2003, 4 friends, Sean Arnold, Robert Lindsay, Dan Strandburg and Andy Kimmet decided to see what they would be like as a band after Havana Jetplane (Sean's other band) grew(But they've split up now). After a few muck about sessions at Stage 2000 they realised they were actually pretty good and decided to form a band. They had a few gigs in various places, the Rio and the Shore included, which they did well at. An EP, The Magical Cat, was released as the band began to rise.

However, Dan and Andy left the band for other commitments. Sean and Rob were left without a drummer. Sean phoned up Iain Langlands, as Rob knew he played the drums. After a few phone calls the band were up and running again.

In Mid-March 2004 Iain joined and the band had 3 gigs planned on the 3rd, 4th and 6th of April (the 3rd was eventually cancelled). With only 2 1/2 weeks to prepare the band had to really work hard to be ready. After Iain listened to the EP countless times the band eventually began to improve the songs and were ready for the gigs after a gruelling 6 hour band practice the day before the 1st gig. Both gigs were done well apart from a few minor faults (see gigogrpahy for review).

After the two gigs they began writing more and more songs, which are all now being put on an album, Who Wants to Start a Revolution. The album release date is Nov 12th, which is the date of the Shore. The EP, Don't Follow A Trend, was released as a limited edition CD on June 25th at the Shore aswell. (See Discography for tracklist). More gigs have been played and more will follow!! See you at the next one!

Just over a year on from the start of 3TR the band have played over 20 gigs and released two CD's. They are currently writing and recording new material for a new EP (not yet named). The EP should be released around the end of the summer. More gigs are planned and the summer Scottish tour is beginning to shape.
